Privacy policy

How we look after your information, in plain English.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

The short version

This part is for everyone, including younger players.

  • You can play every game without making an account.
  • We only collect what we need to run the website and reply to you.
  • We never sell your information.

Who we are

BetterPlayGames is run by Kanso Coders Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14500436). Our registered office is 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.

Kanso Coders Ltd is the data controller for this website.

What we collect

What we collect depends on how you use BetterPlayGames:

  • Just playing: we don't keep logs of who visits or what you play. Like every website, our hosting providers, Laravel Cloud and Cloudflare, receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type when they deliver a page. They use it only to serve the site and keep it secure, under their own privacy policies.
  • Game progress: some web games save your progress in your own browser, on your device. It stays there and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
  • If you contact us: your email address and your message.

How we use it

  • To run the website and the games.
  • To reply when you contact us.
  • To keep the site safe and fix problems.

Cookies

We only use cookies the website needs to work, so we don't ask for consent. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

  • betterplaygames-session: keeps the site working while you browse, for example when you sign in. It lasts 2 hours.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: protects our forms from misuse. It lasts 2 hours.
  • __cf_bm: set by Cloudflare, which protects the site, to tell people apart from bots. It lasts 30 minutes.

App games

Some of our games are apps you download from the App Store or Google Play. Each app is covered below.

Linefall

Linefall doesn't collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the game itself makes no network requests. This applies to the iPhone and iPad app, the Android app and the web version.

What stays on your device

The game saves your progress on your device: the levels you've opened, your stars and flames, coins, stickers and where you put them, your sound and difficulty settings and, in the iPhone and iPad app, which packs you own. We never receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it.

Your device may include this saved progress in its own backups, such as an iCloud or iPhone backup, or an Android backup to your Google account. Those backups are made and controlled by Apple or Google under your device settings, not by us.

Purchases

The iPhone and iPad app offers optional in-app purchases, the packs. Apple handles the payment through the App Store under its own privacy policy, and we don't receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app asks the App Store on your device which packs you own and keeps that answer on your device.

The Android app and the web version have no purchases. Coins are earned by playing and can't be bought.

Apple and Google

Linefall contains no third-party code that collects data. Apple and Google run the stores you download it from and handle your downloads under their own privacy policies. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may share crash reports and usage statistics with us. These don't identify you, and we use them only to fix problems.

Children

Linefall is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data, it collects none from children either. On a child's iPhone or iPad, purchases follow the family's Apple settings, such as Ask to Buy.

Your rights

As Linefall holds no personal data about you, there is nothing in the game for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about privacy in Linefall, email [email protected].

Children's privacy

Lots of our players are children. We follow the UK's Age Appropriate Design Code (the Children's Code): we collect as little as we can, we don't share children's information, and we don't use tricks to get anyone to share more.

How long we keep it

We don't keep logs of visits. If you email us, we keep your message and email address for up to 12 months after we last reply, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we'll help.

Contact and complaints

Email [email protected] with any questions about this policy.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
